Nestled behind and below the Philadelphia Museum of Art is a garden of flowering azalea, hydrangea and clethra shrubs, plus bulbs and varied groundcovers.
The garden’s lawns are intersected by curving paths and shaded by large oak, magnolia and sycamore trees. Following the garden leads to the Water Works Restaurant on the banks of the Schuylkill River, one of the most picturesque spots in all of Philadelphia.
